Emanuele Calabrese is a distinguished osteopath, former professional basketball player, Founder & CEO of ElevaCell Clinics, and CEO of HRU, an advanced health and performance assessment platform focused on stress load, recovery capacity, inflammation, cellular health, and physiological resilience.

Widely recognised for his expertise in treating painful musculoskeletal conditions, Emanuele combines osteopathic care, pain science, movement analysis, and regenerative approaches to help patients reduce pain, recover from injury, improve performance, and restore long-term function.

His background as a professional athlete gives him a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands that contribute to pain, injury, and reduced performance. His approach is built around the belief that pain is not simply mechanical, but shaped by physical, psychological, lifestyle, and systemic factors.

Emanuele is also one of the very few UK-based clinicians with formal academic degrees in oxygen–ozone therapy. This specialist academic training supports his work in musculoskeletal oxygen–ozone therapy for joint pain, soft tissue injuries, spinal conditions, chronic pain, and recovery-focused care.

At ElevaCell, Emanuele now works alongside a trusted team of carefully selected colleagues who share the same commitment to clinical excellence, personalised care, and high professional standards.

Beyond clinical practice, he teaches internationally in physical medicine and pain science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and serves as Chair of BOOTA, the British Oxygen and Ozone Therapies Association, supporting safe practice, education, and the responsible development of oxygen–ozone therapy in the UK.

I saw Emanuele as part of my post-Lipogems rehabilitation and was impressed right from the start by the thorough physical examination and clear explanations. I have started seeing Emanuele due to an injury on my lower back. He was able to get me back on my feet totally pain free and gave me the confidence to go back training doing exactly same as pre injury and more. I had been suffering from headaches, neck and shoulder pain for almost a year .
